Some Good News -
I like to be able to share good news every once in a while so .....
Rescue mission from Vegas to New Mexico with 20k goose neck trailer.
Bad news was that our Inter 8100 with M11 Cummins was terminal.
Loaded up trailer, took the old girl over the scales - 4,600 lbs +/- front and rear on the truck, 16,500 lbs on the trailer for a total of 25,700 lbs all up - quite the load!
Pleased to tell you all that 2,000 miles later, the truck ran all the way like its supposed to - with no problems at all.
I told the guy driving from NM that if the EGT's got over 1,000 degrees he'd be walking home from New York.
Think that helped at all????
