New Process 200?

Ok, was out reading up on my Bronco history and came across two seperate references to the NP 200 transfer case. The claim was made, in both instances, that in 1993, the transfer case was changed by Ford to the NP 200 over the Borg-Warner 1356. I was unaware of this change and frankly am not inclined to believe it since I have a mid year production run 1993 XLT that clearly has a BW 1356 sitting in her under-belly. Not that its a big deal to me, I am just curious as to what anyone may know about this tidbit of discrepancy in the historical recounts of the Bronco. Was it a late change? Do late 93's and up have NP 200's in them? It was news to me. The articles in question are these:

My 93 which was built in I believe November has the BW13-56. But I was thinking this option may have been on some of the less "deluxe" models as yours and mine.

they also say the six died in '93 ... it was discontinued in '96 actually. the NP200 would predate the NP208 used in 80-86 Bronco's and F-series. Misprint is my guess and that it may be in reference to possible use of the NP241 or later models. But, IIRC Ford abstained from NP cases in favour of the B-W offerings until '99 when the super duties got the NP271.
