exhaust advice

finally got my truck running today, so now i need an exhaust system, I'm going to buy a universal kit from summit racing but don't know what size i should get. should a get 2.25 or 2.5 inch pipe? the truck is a 78 f-150 4x4 with a 351 M thats stock except a edlebrock intake and edlebrock 4 barrel carb. I'm also running stock exhaust manifold and I'm not planning on every doing anything power wise other than what i have. i just what her running.

2.25 should be adequate, and should run good. 2.5 would give it a slightly deeper tone. im planning on running dual 2.5's on my 460.

both would run good and the price is only a twenty dollar difference, plus 2.5 is easier to get the x-pipe and mufflers also. i think ill go with the 2.5
