F250 highboy
I have f250 76 highboy that I am switching cabs on. I have a good 77 F150 cab but when switching cabs the 2 mounts in the cab dont line up they are too narrow should I put new holes in or look for a new cab. Will there be any other issues if i continue, looks like maybe a different steering setup too.

just drill the holes and go from there. use your old column and wiring but if the f150 cab is nice, the sheetmetal is the same except for those 2 holes. there will be a few things to switch over, like the wiring, column, and maybe the booster

If you look at the bottom of the cab, there are template holes where you need to drill. You can see it in the pic looking from underneath. I used a long drill bit to drill from bottom up and then I used a hole saw to drill inside the cab so you can use the rubber plugs just like the other ones.
