motor help
Hi everybody! Im building a 1965 Ford f-250 4x4 Hi-Boy and I am going to build a motor for it Im down to 2 choices and dont know witch way to go? The truck already has a transplant 360 in it but thats not going to stay choices are a running 460 that I have already or go find myself a 390 what do you guys think?

Rob, The 360 & 390 are the same block. One has a 352 rotating system and the other a 390. Rebuild the 360 as a 390 and drive on.
Swap in a 460 and you will have to bring the tranny with it. The FE & 385 family engines don't swap.
Simple would be rebuild the 360, but it's up to you and your pocket book.
