IDENTIFYING TRANSMISSION HELP!

I have a 86 f150 4x4 with a 351W in it and i dont know what kind of transmission. it might have been swapped but im not sure. it has the number '64' on the top of the tranny and again in another place. any ideas?

The number probably means nothing really, is it an auto or manual? Is it three speeds or four? Is fourth OD or not?

its an automatic and im pretty sure its a 3 speed. the carb has been messing up and it bogs so i cant get it into the final gear but im working on the carb and its being a pain

It's most likely a C6 then, since that's the easiest bolt in. The shape of the pan would tell all.
