Does anybody know if the 2002 EB Expedition is prewired for Heated Seats. My truck did not come with the option but I would like to add them. If the seats come with the heating element I should just have to buy the switch...
Somebody please answer the question . . . I am in the same position. Bought a 2000 EB last night and it has just about everything but the heated seats. Wife would love them, as would I.
Why don't you guys look on the bottom of your seats? If you see more that the motor for adjustments, then it's probably pre-wired with the heating element. But I doubt it. That TED ain't cheap. They're not gonna put it in every truck and just not wire it for those who don't purchase the option.
Anyone have any experience with the Jacobs Electronic's Heated Seat System. Its the only aftermarket system I have found and it appears to be pretty nice. I'll be giving them a call in a few minutes.
FYI, I found an upholstery shop in San Rafael that will install the heated seat inserts, wire them up and install the switch for $200 per seat. They also have seat massagers available
