I have actually changed my exhaust since those pictures where taken. Now its just cut-off right after the muffler in front of the rear axle. But when I got it I just had my local muffler shop fabricate for me. I already had the muffler. Its a flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber. 1 in, 2 out. It would have cost me 250 if I needed the muffler.
I have 2010 4x4 black lariat with same 20" rims and 2.5" leveling kit. Been heavily debating my tire options. I HATE the factory tires and the rubber band look!
My buddy has 2009 f150 and just put the 33" nitto A/T's....Looks nice! I'm debating my gas mileage.....want the 35's. Really just drive around town or to duck camp...not much interstate driving for me.
I still get about 375 miles around town or 500 on straight highway. Factory tires didn't stay on my truck for very long. I like the look of 35s myself but 33s would be a great choice also. Go with mudgrapplers or trailgrapplers. Me and friends never had good luck with the terra grapplers offroad

You're kiddin me! How big is your gas tank?
I'm lucky to see 10 around town and 15 on hte highway with almost 35s.
My truck's gas tank is about 20 usable gallons of the 26. I'm rarely put in more than 19 on the highway.
(My truck is an '07 Tundra btw).
I"d trade anything to be able to go 500 miles on a single fillup. It's not the gas mileage that kills me, it's the range.
I think the 35" question has a lot to do with wheel choice. There are people who say that 33" tires will fit on a stock Bronco, people have done it. With mine, I bought 10" wide wheels, had a 2" lift and still had to cut a large section of the bumper off. The wheels and tires went on the truck fine, until I tried to turn. The tire just hit the bumper instead of tucking inside it. With the stock wheels that 04XLTRUNNER has, the tires stay closer to the fenders so they don't catch the bumper or fender when he is turning.
04XLTRUNNER- How bad is the rubbing? Is it wearing on the tire or the parts that they are hitting? Do you have any pictures looking down the side of the truck from the front or rear (showing the tires stance compared to the fender)?
the rubbing is minor. a little on the a-arms at full turn and the inside lugs barely rub the upper ball joint housing. nothing to be concerned about. i have been running the tires for over 50k miles and havent had a bit a problem. i might have couple pictures to help you out.
yeah I just rolled over 60k on the truck the other day. And I actually have about 66k, my tires have affected my mileage. For every 1000 miles on my odometer I have to add an extra 100 to make up for the difference.
