That truck is likely a "stripped chassis" truck with the narrower frame - the dually axle is narrower than the dually pickup-bed axle too, and actually if you simply pull the dual rear wheels and install singles the truck will become just as wide as a regular SRW pickup-bed truck. For the front it kinda depends on what style wheel hubs you got, as some DRW 4x4 trucks have essentially a SRW frnot axle with just hub extenders added to make up for the deep-ish dually wheel - remove these extenders and bolt your single wheels in their place. There are however one-piece front hubs too, they are dually-specific and there's no adapter you can take off - if you got one of these axles then you gotta swap the DRW hubs out for some SRW hubs for the same axle...

The cab-n-chassis rear axle(67") face of drum to face of drum. A SRW pick up axle(64") face of drum to face of drum. And your spring perches are 44.5" wide on a SRW axle (center pin to center pin), and the cab-n-chassis is 40.5"

LCAM is correct for the front axle though, you can just unbolt the dual adadapters

Also, the cab to rear axle diminsion on a cab and chassis will be different from a pickup so the pickup bed will have a gap between the bed and back of the cab. This is assuming that the chassis is a 60" c/a and the pickup c/a will be 57".

Wait, ain't the pickup-body dually axle 4" wider than the SRW axle, which would put it at 68" from drum face to drum face? I was under the impression that the cab-chassis axle is identical in drum face to drum face width to the SRW axle, but accommodates for the dually wheels (being more offset than the singles) by moving the backing plates and the leaf springs 2" inboard on each side (confirmed by your spring perch width numbers)...

A pick up dually axle is at least 70" if not more

Ok, just to clarify, by "drum face to drum face" do you mean the surfaces where the wheels mount to?

Hmm, 133" wheelbase and bolt on hub adapters, almost sounds like a pickup dually with the bed swapped out and not a C&C to me.

If it's a regular F350 (not cab and chassis) then it's a straight bolt in swap from the DRW axle to SRW axle as long as it's a 10.25 axle from a '97 and older F-series.

I did this on my truck last year. Bought it as a dually, swapped in a SRW axle in less than a day. Then swapped the front hub/rotor assembly.

Before and after pics in my garage gallery.

my truck is deff a c&c it is around 34"across the frame rails.around 41"centerbolt to centerbolt on rear springs.trying to find some wheels to see how bad it would look.prob have to swap the rear out and move the spring pads.hate to though rear is new, front is new,7.3 is also new.hopfuly i can keep project moving to a finished picup.

Do try with a pair of junkyard wheels first tho, it may just work - if Brad is right on the dimensions the wheels will sit only about an inch firther out than they would with a factory SRW axle, which is really not a big deal.

The C&C dually axle was the narrowest of the 3
