I replaced both of mine with National wheel hubs. They came with the four studs, needle bearing and the yellow hub seal. They were $325 each if I remember right from Advance AP.
holy smokes, 58 bucks for 8 studs..............i'd think the local h-ware store would have them in gr 8 alot cheaper than the dealer is getting for them.
tascaparts.com has them for $225 each fine thread 4x4, 4w abs (with promo discount, I used their F150online discount)...the part comes with wheel bearing unit, (four knuckle mounting studs PN F81Z-1107-AA) , yellow o-ring PN F81Z-4A322-AA, and one (external opening) snap ring for hub shaft spline. You can purchase the studs separately if you need more...they are $1.87 each. Also, you can purchase the yellow oring separate at $3.62 each
Hey Guys, I work for Timken @ the plant where the Cone Assem. are made, these are mated to the hub @ Altivista Va. The Unfortunate thing is we are no longer going to manufacture these; or so I am told. But we might it is hard to say for sure. It all comes down to profitability. Hard to compete with China @ .50/hr. These assemblies may look simple, but they are difficult to produce.
anyone have the correct part number for the front hubs on a 2005 4wd 4wabs. i looked on the tascaparts website and i can locate them. also were the 04 and 05's the same a found a place with them listed for 04 and 05. rear abs only. can the abs sensor be transfered to the new hubs?

You hit it right on.
They are actually very hard to manufacture - lots of black magic, trade secrets in it.
China is not all that competitive once you get to the higher quality stuff.
For things like bearings, I always insist on name brands that have something to lose --- and even then, got to be real careful that it is not a fake or counterfeit ---- because it is so hard to tell.
Needless to say, I don't buy parts like that off e bay.

Avoid the china bearings if you can. They are junk when compared to timken.
Swinkw, I would like to talk to you about timken. Tried to PM you, but can't.
