Question on fuel system
This is for an 86 F-250 with two gas tanks. Due to old age, the lines and tanks have developed leaks. The switch valve works when it feels like it. I am going to weld up my own custom tank. I'm going to need a tap on the bottom to go to the fuel pump. The line from the fuel pump back to the tank can be run into the top of the tank. Am I correct. The fuel pump has three ports, two from the gas tank and one to the carb. Best, CB

If you did it with rear facing outlets like a Fuel cell, ok, but DO NOT put fittings out the bottom.
Edit, also best to use solid connections, like a fuel cell, AN or equivalent, don't use hose nipples and clamps.
