I have a question thats related to the current discussion on the 7.3's in the Ford trucks vs the ones in the commercial vehicles but is different enough to warrant a new thread.
I was talking to an International diesel tech a year ago or so and he was telling me that the turbos and injectors on the 7.3's in the school buses were larger that what came on our trucks. Does anyone know if this is true and if you could directly swap the school bus turbo?
This would be a cheap way to get a larger turbo as there are plenty of old International school buses around....

All the different injectors that you have ever heard of, AA, AB, AC, AD, BA, BB, BC, BD, BG, BJ, and BP will work in a 7.3. Some were designed for the DT466, and others were designed for the I530, some are split shots, some are single shot injectors, but they all share the same HUEI deisgn and injector cup. What is different is the injection timing, and the amount of oil used to run the injectors. (custom tuning for the PSD)
