Oil Bath Breather....
Anyone know where I can find an oil bath breather for my '54 Ford F100 239 Y block motor? I've searched the internet and can't find anything. Also, would it be ok to sandblast the one I have (had some water get in it), if so, what about the inner mesh? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Julie.....I give it a shot. Mine's not in really bad shape, it's just had some water in it and has a little rust. If I can get the inside clean, I'll paint the outside, add a little oil, and it should be ready to go. Thanks again!!

That reminds me. If you can kill the rust, and get it clean, you can coat the inside with shellac - same as a gas tank - to seal it.
You may want to consider contacting your local motorcycle shop and ask them for a gas tank "sealing kit." It will have a chemical acid to kill the rust, denatured alcohol to clean it, and the "magic coating" (white pigmented shellac) to seal it up. Or go to the POR-15 website and look at their gas tank sealing products - would work perfect for an oil bath!
You may want to consider contacting your local motorcycle shop and ask them for a gas tank "sealing kit." It will have a chemical acid to kill the rust, denatured alcohol to clean it, and the "magic coating" (white pigmented shellac) to seal it up.
