TO FLUSH OR NOT TO FLUSH??

Ok, I have a 05 f350 Lariat with the 6.0 had it for bout a year and a half. It's been nothing but one thing after another(egr coolers, head gaskets, glow plugs you get the pic) Now I've got this weird thing I guess you could call it a shudder going on in overdrive and have searched the posts. I have tried every trans additive known to man(always draining some no overfill) so at this point its probably all additive by now and still shuddering. After reading posts on flushing the trans or dropping the pan, changing filter, not changing.......Im about as confused as you can get. Can someone please help me out here? Do I flush it or not?? Not sure what tranny is in it, I'm guessing it's the Torqueshift, its all stock so someone probably knows whats in there better than I, it's got 145,000 on it, had the trans serviced by ford before it was shuddering at about 130,000 shudder started at about 143,000. Has anyone had any luck with a BG power flush? Lost in space...

I would not expect a flush or anything like that at this point to fix your problem. The shudder is probably caused by something mechanical in your transmission.

Lol I had an 00 Impala that I liked to call the "Shudder-O-Matic". Flushing the tranny never helped (as I had expected), although the new fluid probably kept it from getting worse. Put 20K on it like that.

I would flush it anyway, but I wouldn't expect it to fix the problem. If it does, great, but don't count on it.
