Cool '92 E250 sat for 2 years, now after 500 miles the trans leaks...

I just bougt a '92 E250 with 4.9L and E4OD. I drove about 500 miles and now the trans is leaking bad. Appears to be front pump or seal. It is driven nicely and not rodded on.
Is this just a seal failure due to inactivity for 2 years and then being driven or could it be much worse. The Van did not leak a drop when I test drove it and fluid looked GREAT and full. Now less than 2 weeks later... Pukeing all over the ground.

I am on a budget for sure but want it done right. BTW I have had 3 trans rebuilt for my V10 F250. I am a little gun shy and do not mind taking on a project.

Check the breather for mud, grease or stuff.
If it is plugged fluid will be puked out.

I shall. Just got prices and ordered the seal from Ford. Picking it up in an hour but cant look at the trans till tonight or tomorrow. I hope it is something like the seal or breather. I have spent enough on Transmissions in the last 3 years.
