well here are a couple shots of mine. The shifter is from a 90's ranger welded to the stock 77 shifter. Over look the brown paint it has since been re painted and cleaned up.
Wow thats cool Bowtie_Schmowtie! The more I drive my truck with the shifter, I could use some more length on the shifter when I'm shifting into second. Yours looks to be the perfect length for that because its kind of a stretch to put it into second gear for me. But I would rather have a 3-speed anyday over an automatic.
You know how I can tell your truck wasn't originally black??? Hahaha

And on another side note/hijack - if you ever bump/kick your mag lite holders and break them - PM me. I have powder coated metal ones that cost less than the "mag lite" brand ones and they last longer because they don't crack/break when you accidentally bump them

Here is my question, what is the column out of? I remember arguing with my dad years ago when I was a kid that the 78/79 broncos had the keyset in the column and he claimed no f series or bronco dents had keyset in the column. Seeing that picture made me remember that conversation.
chase truck, your corect the cab was white at some time. The colum is not a ford piece,it is out of a 84 jeep grand waggoneer. I never did like the key on the colum. It now has a proper FORD tilt 4 speed colum in it and the floors have all been re done.I will try and get some pics this weekend.
here are the "new" pics.

I have a no name shifter from Pep Boys I like it though! I use to have a shifter from an escort before this one I went from a colum to the floor, the plastic is from around the shifter in the escort it fits the floor perfect! Check out my dash in this pic you can see my custom gauge panel I moved the radio up and deleted the heater controls and moved the gauge panel to were the radio was! I need to start a thread on dashes!!
