v-8 conversion
What do you have already? Are you staying with the standard transmission? Do you have the whole vehicle that the 302 is coming from?
With no knowledge of what you have, I would say you need a rear sump oil pan along with the pick up tube for the oil pump. You also need a set of small block v-8 engine towers. The six cylinders towers will not work as well. If it is from a car you should get truck motor mounts for the block. The 302 will bolt right up to the standard transmission. You will also need a v-8 radiator for a standard transmission.
It is a fairly simple swap and all of these parts are around the junkyards in these trucks already. The nice part is there is no welding involved. You may have to grind some rivets on the towers but then you can bolt them in.

Getting ready to swap a 302 into my sons 1975 f-100. It currently has a 300 6 cyl in it with a 4 speed. Any advice much appreciated in case I have overlooked anything.
