77' F150 4x4

That's a long bed on a 20' trailer. Plenty of room to spare. Keep in mind, only the wheelbase is important, NOT the overall length. When properly loaded, the truck will overhang the rear of the trailer by several feet.......as you can see.

Thanks Nick
here's what I expect to have to replace on these trucks when I buy one.
rear axle seals (outer, look for oil on the insides of the tires)
U-joints
front drive shaft
outer axle u-joints on front axle
ball joints
track arm bushings
77 has a steering joint on the pitman arm itself... expect it to have some wear
tie rod ends & the rest of the steering linkage joints
power steering hoses
radiator
complete brake job with lines, at least the rubber lines
exhaust
heater fan (motor)
carb kit
ignition tuneup (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, vac advance)
inspect/repack/or replace front wheel bearings.
Spindle seals & inner bearings (the tiny needle bearings that the axle ends ride in)
as far as sheetmetal, cab floor pans, cab corners, possibly lower door skins, lower front fender patches, bed sides, and sometimes outer wheel houses that attach wheel well to bedside.
Then you've got your cab weatherstripping, carpet or rubber floor mat... paint/body work
your nickle & dime items like alternator, voltage regulator, belts, thermostat, fuel pump...

god I'll just stop.. I'm reliving a couple of restorations and I'm depressing myself.

Here's the one thing about these ford trucks though, you can drive em with pretty much all or any of these things wrong with them and pick away at them one item at a time

because they are so damn tough!
good luck, post pictures.
