Ok so this truck was advertised as a 95. I recently did a vin decode and it says it was made in april of 1994. But it still has a 7.3 turbo diesel, powerstroke. Is this concidered a 94.5, even though it was in the early half of the year. Also I did a decode on the FTE site and it says it had a 5.0L in it. bu the 7.3 is the stock engine. It didnt go through a gas to diesel conversion.
Link wouldn't work.
Just a guess here:
I would say that before you bought it someone did an engine swap.
Also an April 1994 build could easily be a 1994.5, remember in August/September of 1994, the 95's would've hit the lots.
hey major, i too have a 94 f350 with the 7.3 powerstroke etc... and my manufacture date is 5/94 so your truck could of been one of the first off the line with the 7.3.
you can also look at the flat spot of the block by the oil filter, there is the serial number of that engine. Mine was a 5/94 engine with a serial number of 22k and change
do a search on build sheets...there is a Ford e-mail address...send them your vin ...takes a month maybe and you'll have the original build sheet including all options in your snailmail box...hth
