help! it broke, whats it called
i was in the process of dropping the transmission. i loosened the bolts on the back of the trans then loosed the mount bolts, well what ever is between the trans n transfer case, 2 big chunks of it fell down, so what is that piece called,

That looks like it used to be a mount, or cross member from the frame on top..
I'm thinking that's part of your Transmission case or transfer case on the bottom. Have you checked both for damage?

yes, check ebay, what trans you have? t18 im guessing and a np208 case too i bew or a borgwarner
look on craisgslist or jukyards, that part is easy to replace and shoudl only be under 50$ used
its a stock piece "transfercase to transmission adapter"
