Wont Shift
my 2003 ford f-250 will not go into park or reverse, it does go into drive but 4-wheel drive will not work. it sounds like the parking pin is just spinning around the flex plate when you try and go int park or reverse. I drove it a week ago and all was fine it has 50,000 miles and is in great shape. I washed it last week and washed under the hood could something have been damaged by the water? If you turn the key to acc power and wait a few seconds you can here a slight thump is this some thing that has to do with the tranny shifting?
