what a difference a year makes

its been a little over a year since i bought my truck but i figure id share its progress a little.
the day i bought it
early 1999 F250 Super Duty XLT extended cab 2wd 44k miles
bought it from a family friend its past life was spent as a cable service truck in Alabama

complete with utility body, cap and ladder rack

seat covers (protecting seats not hiding damage imagine that)

Fairly clean and barely broke in

took the cap and ladder rack off before the plates were even on it

some pics of it at work

i wanted a regular long box for the truck and my family business wanted my utility bed. i found a 08 take off bed at a local junk yard and picked it up

Truck is coming along well Jim. These seven threes are like a drug addiction. So you're putting a full 05-07 front end on it? are you changing from the header panel out? I wanted to do that but wasn't sure what all I needed to change. There is a Ford only junkyard local that has a complete front end but he swore to me it wouldn't work on my 02'. I'm in the process of reconstructing my "salvage" insurance buy back. I'm almost ready for paint!
