Better Yet.........
This last summer I drove my '99 expedition eddie bauer to Mexico City with a quick trip to Acapulco. Drove amazingly, especially when i don't have to worry about speed limits and any police at all. ( only saw 2 the whole time on the road in mexico and they were both sleeping!!!) Took my expedition to the max in speed that it would go! Going to do it again this summer hopefully.

Here in Eastern CT. were having a pretty good winter, so I was able to see how the Expy acts in the snow, was curious, she does some nice donuts in the snow on my back lawn, in 4x4, 
and then we would have to go pickup girlfriends daughter at McDonalds at like 1:30 am,,had lots of ice out in the back parking lot, so naturally I had to give it a try once, she spun right around,,,yeeee, Haaa,, , anyway not to crazy but it was fun.
Love that LS rear,,ps, its a 97' 4x4 5.4 and just turned 100k miles runs great, about time for the plug change I guess

I have tried out the new 2003 features in a big icy, snowy parking lot. Really impressive how it straightens itself out when the rear starts to slide (advance trac) and also the anti locks work great!

I tried wipping my Dad's 2003 Expy EB around some tight corners on gravel roads -- that darned Advance Trac wouldn't let the rear end wander no matter what I threw at it! 
It kept its traction so well I thought the tires had claws coming out of them. Turn the Advance Trac off, and it's a different story...
In the Super Duty forum I wrote a post about towing my F-250 with an Expedition. I got the Super Duty stuck in some really deep snow with the driver's side on the low end of an incline. The snow went above my step-bars and went almost up to my knees. Needless to say the F-250 wouldn't budge an inch in 4x4 HI or 4x4 Low.
I dug out the rear so I could attach a strap to my towing harness, with the other end attached to the front tow hooks of dad's Expy. With the Expy on semi-solid ground (still snowy, but it least it had been plowed) and 4 Low engaged, it yanked my 7000 pound beast and dislodged it without breaking a sweat! How's that for "Built Ford Tough!"
