fuel filter

Has any one ever used a regular one piece spin on fuel. Filter

WIX 33617 - Fuel/Water Separator 1993 Ford F-250 | O'Reilly Auto Parts

yes i just installed one this past weekend and eliminated the metal piece on the bottom. you can get the one with or without the sensor the one in the link is the one with the water in fuel sensor. make sure you fill it up with good diesel or you can fill it with diesel kleen.... jusst make sure its full and let it run a few minutes

nobody really does ha it leaks and was causing me to loose prime in the fuel system.... if you havent got yours off yet you might just want to take a screw driver and a good hammer with you and drive it through and turn it off.... mine was stuck on good and the wrench just slipped around it

I tried that method on an oil filter on a peterbilt truck and ripped the damn filter right in half. Messed around with it probly for a good hour and a half and finally the big channel locks took it off. Lots of fun!!
