add-on sirius
I have a cd-6 radio from a mustang I am going to attempt to install in my 04 f-250 and it has the sat button. I need to know what it takes to make the sirius work if the truck didn't come with it.

if the radio has a satelite button chances are its actualy got the receiver built in.
try to get a owners manual for the radio in question to make sure thou.
if you needed a seperate recevier, it would defeat the entire purpose of using that radio's button.. in that case it would simply be working as a aux/linein.
i have both a stand-alone sat. radio receiver in my truck and a indash aftermarket radio with a siruis capable head unit. but i prefer teh stand-alone as it offers features the aftermarket radio doesnt.
