I take four 10 penny nails, smooth the tips up on a belt sander, give a little twist while pushing them in till I feel the spring give and then pull the radio out. After doing it the second time I tossed the nails in my tool box in the "special tools" section.

I spend the $5 bucks on a couple beers!!!

+3? For autozone tools. Tried the hangers. Unknowingly bend the spring parts behind the trim. Proper tools @ $5 is cheaper than the problems. $500 try the homemade tool. $5???? Buy the proper tool. Save the headache.
