I just got mine last week but I have not been able to install it yet. Out of the box the quality is very nice and well put together. The price is good also.
This is the kit I opted for and installed. what I found is the pipe does not perfectly line up with the oil cooler out let, its a little to low and goes a little to the left of were it should also the gap between the two is a little to close if you have to change the hose.
I also did not like there solution with the after market high temp hose and hose clamps. I used the oem egr cooler hose and looks and should work much better. I just have a thing aginst hose clamps.
all in all the kit is not a bad choice I just fell a little bit more time in spent in production would have made it better.
Thats my opinion for what its worth.
No I went with the sinister kit. There are other post about the kit with good success. I'm not sure how mine will install but I hope all goes well. I was able to get a nice price on the sinister.
also on the sinister kit they basicly stole the kit from rcd and did a little change up. I myself didnt like the connections at the intake were the pipe goes in. I was not found of the sharp 90* turn. also the fittings seem to be made of brass wich over time likes to corrode (my personal experence). so thats why I went with the kit I chose. I dont think either is going to be a bad option though.
Do they make an EGR delete that keeps the OEM EGR valve in place for emissions inspection? It needs to look original for the visual inspection. They lift my hood every year and look for the EGR valve here in AZ....

Cheezit, thanks for the candid feedback. I too went with the Sinister, but haven't installed it yet. So did you have to heat and contort the pipe to make it work or was there any bending necessary? Do you see better spooling of the turbo with the new up-pipe? Thanks.
I just installed this a couple of weeks ago. I completely agree with Cheezit's observations . Here are some pics in my gallery: 2005 Ford F250 4x4 - EGR Delete
