I bought a set of General Grabber HTS from tirerack.com about 2 weeks ago. I did a lot of research online and decided on the Generals. I don't do any off-roading and these seemed to be a good street tire. We'll see if they last as long as the ad says. Tirerack had great prices and they shipped to me in 3 days. Ordered on a Thursday, came on Saturday. I had them installed locally and I'm very satisfied with the whole process. The tires ride real nice. Much less road noise than my last cheapo tires. It sucks that I had to buy them online. I always like to support my local economy. But even with shipping, I still saved a lot of money. With anything you buy online, you must do your homework!!
I have the same tires on my Expy, been on about a year now and they handled sand out the outerbanks last summer great and snow this winter about 10 inches in the Mountains here in NC they did fine and they are very quiet. I wanted to get Michelin LTX M/S again but they were over $90 a tire more, I got mine from Tread Depot for the same reason, even with shipping and having them installed still cheaper than the local places.
