Hey guys I have a problem with my '77 250. I'm too damned fat to fit comfortably behind the wheel! Yes I know losing weight is the ultimate answer, but I'm too lazy! I was wondering what sizes of wheels you guys run? I'd like to go as small as I can while still being able to control it (it is power steering btw)
Other problem is the in-cab fuel tank, add that together with the wheel and there's not enough room! I had a '78 that didn't have the in-cab tank and I fit perfectly behind the wheel, odd that there's that much difference one year to the next.
I just put a Grant Challanger 4 spoke on about a month ago. It is 13 1/2" vs the 16 1/2" original. At first I thought it looked way too small and made a mistake, but within a week I was used to it and now it just looks right to me.
