ABS sensor help

Can anyone look up parts numers or cross-reference some for me? or send me to a web site that might help?

I need a front ABS senor for a 1997F-150 4x4 the dealer has one for $98.00
and said the part number was sc182

I found a guy parting out a 1997 F-250 2wd and he said he would sell it for $10.00. I called the dealer and asked for the part number on this truck and he said it was BRAB118

that is a correct part number

I would not put a used one in and you can get one from Amazon for $37 w/ free shipping

Do you think the BRAB118 ( $37.00 )will work because I think that one is for the 2wd hub

My truck 4x4 needs the BRAB117 and that one is $117.00 on amazon.

JUST MY BAD LUCK i guess??????????????

sorry, didn't correlate the 2wd vs the 4wd...

2wd sensor will not work for the 4wd...so the $10 part is out, the $37 part is out, and the ford dealer price is $194.60 msrp

you can get the entire hub assembly with the sensor for less than that. i had to replace both of mine and they were $120 a piece at oreillys but i got them for $160 for both off of ebay. both places came with the new sensors.
