I've come across a problem I'm not sure about. I have an '05 F350 with the diesel and when I'm sitting at a red light the RPM's drop down and it seems like it's going to stall. It also seems to bog down when I'm leving the line giving the motor a only a little bit of acceleration. This problem doesn't occur all the time. but it still has me worried. I recently changed out both fuel filters and thats when it seemed to start, coincidence? I figured it might be bad fuel, so I've been using a cetane additive with every tank I get, but it hasn't stopped.
If anyone has some constructive ideas I'd love to hear back from you.
Check the "fuel filter changing" post in the forum. Pull both filters while doing this and make sure you didn't crush one of them while instaaling them. Then purge the system like the post says. Good luck.
