These are fantastic, but I have not (yet) seen any that would be beefy enough for a tow vehicle.... All I've seen were designed for passenger cars and SUV/very light trucks. And if we do find one, I suspect the cost will be heart attack level....
That's why I though of installing stock transfer case. They are designed to reliably handle the full output of our rigs and are plentiful enough to be found relatively inexpensively.
I called the manufacturer yesterday and they claimed there is no difference in strength compared to a stock drive shaft. I find that hard to believe and AFIC tell it is $750. I really didn't think that is too bad.
