Caught the fever!

The forum is not good for my pocketbook!!

After reading alot of discussions and seeing what people are adding gave me the *fever* to add stuff myself! Dang you guys!!

Got the 5 star tuning package from Mike today!

Ordered 4 Rancho 9000XL from Anythingauto.com $329.95 ($100 rebate also to mail in) shipped and the Hawk LTS pads for front for $74.65 shipped. Going local to get the rotors on Friday!

Hope'n it will ride like a Cadillac and pull like a Peterbilt!!

Ha, you better stop reading then. The more you read the more you spend, but at least you know that someone has tried it and usually reported the results. So you can look at it as saving you money. So you have more to spend on the extras.

yep i hear that..... we were discussing the lifting of the Ex..... my wife said NO, we have kids that will still need to be hauled around in it...... well.... after a few sightings, and a few pics online (thanks to the FTE'ers) no more than 4" of lift was agreed on....... pretty much my wife put a "lift cap" on me...... and no loud muffler like the F250. i have a FM original 40 series on it, and it's deep and loud as well, lol......

I got mine in October and managed to put these items on in 3 months... exhaust, air intake, tuned, bladerunner and have the ARP headstuds in the box at home waiting to go in. Next on the list is the suspension. X Anonymous meetings will begin every Tuesday at 8pm sharp. Hello, my name is Ryan and I'm an addict.

Can someone explain the 5 star tuning by Mike? is it a tuner? or a series of parts?

i hear ya, HAHAHA, my lift options have been narrowed down to checking the dealer on a set of factory springs, "X" for the front, and "B" for the back, OR the procomp leaf spring set up from summit.

not sure on shocks yet, i'll wait for the springs then add the shocks

muffler is a toss up, i like the FM sound on a V10, but i've heard a couple borla's that have a nice deep rumble and are low interior noise.

then of course i'm gonna give Mr. Mike at 5 Star a call and give him some business for both my fords!!

that's the main part of my lists that my loving "financial manager" has approved for the time being, LOL!

you can get a list of tunners to fit your needs and wants.... they have pre programmed tunes or Mr. Mike can load the power tunes that he himself uses on his V10's.......

personally i wouldn't go any where else...... i've received a couple of follow up emails from him just to check in with me, even though i've never purchased anything from him (YET!!!)! there are "local" places here that won't even do that.......plus there are a couple other dealers in this area for banks/bullydog/edge ect....... and those guys are like "hhmmm V10 huh.......... uhh uuhh well when you decide to get a diesel call us back and we can hook you up"....... no love for the 10'er brotherhood around here!!
