freeze plug
finally get to go on the test run today with the motor i put in my truck test drive went pretty good small skip but think its the older plugs any way drove it bout 2 or 3 miles and got back well when i parked i noticed some steam and looked under the truck and was pouring water i found a freeze plug poped out any ideas what would make it pop out thanks

It may not have been in there very good in the first place. I've had a few pop out over the years, I put a new one back in and never had the problem again. If the pressure is high enough to blow a properly seated plug, you should have had steam pushing past the radiator cap... or I would think so anyway.
