really a block heater hun i think it is 3rd from the front drivers side cant see for sure but it is dumping out right where the stock exh. manifold bolts up to the exh. pipe
If access is limited and you don't want to pull the exhaust manifold an expandable rubber freeze plug is a viable option, whichever way you choose to go you gotta get the old plug out first, if you can get a long flat blade screwdriver on the outer lip of the plug and tap it with a hammer the plug should rotate out enough for you grab it with a pair of pliers assuming there is enough access to do all this, sometimes the only option albeit a PITA is to pull the exhaust manifold.
i might go with the rubber one for now cause if i have to pull the motor i will want to change the clutch while im at it do the rubber ones work pretty well??? at least till it gets a little warmer anyway
I have a rubber plug on both sides (not my doing) and they are okay. Its nice because they are easy to replace! Keep a spare on hand and 3 gallons of water though just in case one blows out. This is a good time for a story. I installed a manual water temp gauge but the factory one saved my motor. I just had a freeze plug blow on the highway, only instead of hearing it, smelling it, or seeing steam I experienced none of them. The only indicator was my factory gauge crept up close to the H mark, since it is at the base of the motor and still had some water so it would read. Saved my a$$ for sure.
Have fun. I had to replace a freeze plug behind the motor mount on the passenger side. It was a royal pain to do. I ended up using a body hammer, same size as the 1 1/2" freeze plug and wedged it between the motor mount perch and the block and then lower the motor down to help press the freeze plug in. It worked but it was tough. Had I not been putting an oil pump in and had the pan off I don't think it could of been done without pulling the motor. There is no room to swing a hammer.
