You have opened yourself up for some interesting feedback! Bill has a less than favorable reputation around here. There are a few guys on here that have used him, and they are quite happy with his work. You can learn some stuff from him for sure, but there are people on here that would embarrass Bill with their knowledge of these trucks, and how things work.
If/when I have a question or problem, I consult the good people on here for advice on fixing it.
All you are doing with this is actually loosing boost. You don't need to bleed off boost to make the wast-gate not open. You can do that by tightening down to the rod.
The inline thing is just a little regulator so the map sensor will not defuel the engine if boost gets over 23#.
Use his vids for intertainment only, ask here before you do mods to your truck.

Fine looking truck Kelly - Imo get all your gauges installed b4 too many HP mods especially if going to tow. Enjoy!
Thanks mate, its a bugger of a color to keep clean, and im in earthworks aswell LOL you should see it when ive 20 truck and trailers carting dirt away from me , goes from black to browny grey...
Yer im doing things atm,ive got the tranny gauge in,got a get the egt next..
The rod on the top/back of the turbo that goes to the exhaust housing. Take the little clip off the end and take the rod off the wastgate arm, screw the rod in, then put it back on the arm. You may have to use compressed air to get the rod to go out far enough to put the rod on.
Me two... I will say I like listening to him talk on his Video's.He talks like a redneck like me. I will say some of the stuff he does is questionable but asfar as his matience such as dropping the diff and tranny pans and doing the oil change I think that is very informable. Just my .$02...Nice truck btw. I do like that black and yes the black is hell to keep clean!!!
Oh great... haha. Yeah, I don't really listen to that guy. Anyway, FINALLY another person with the Bocar/Ute ltd Aluminum front bumper! They are really rare around these parts! How has it held up so far?
