I just wanted to let everyone know that the 390 to 300 inline article is out. Most Barnes and Nobles will have True Blue Trucks magazine. The engine is on the cover, in the top left corner.

I'm working on the tech article that they asked me to write. It is like pulling teeth.I don't know what part two is, or even if I am going to be writing it. They haven't said anything.

Can you post a link to the article? I'd love to read it but there isn't a Barnes & Noble within 100 miles of me.

It says "Part One" in the title of the article on page 52. Maybe just a "hook" to buy future issues?

Harte3: I have spoken with the editor, and he now wants the tech article to be part 2, how I did it, the parts I used, and how others can do it.

Regarding a link: I would do a search for True Blue Trucks magazine, and see what you can find for the article. They may charge to download it. Good Luck.

I am also going to be writing a column for them: Backyard Mechanic, USA, repairs on the cheap. I hope to make it funny and fun, about pulling parts from the junkyard, and how to make things work without buying the high dollar parts.

Sounds like a good gig....except for the dreaded deadlines that go with the territory. Been there.

I think I found it online but I'm not sure how to download this. I am biting at the bit to read this.

I don't reckon anyone here loves me enough to mail me a copy, eh? LOL

Sorry f250 restorer, I looked in town for the mag. Guess what? The printed word is a new fangled fad here. Most don't understand why you just don't use the reliable smoke signal. Will try a search on the new fangled computer. OBCB

Finding it may a B the hardest part. Can't U just "highlight" it w/your curser/mouse and click a 'save as' to a word processor program opened on your 'desk top'?
