can someone decode for me?

well im no expert but ill start you off.
f10=f100
C=292 Y-block v-8
dont remember what the 9 means and k would be the plant of production followed by the production number.
the wheel base in 110 inches, meaning its a short box and i forget the rest of it. Im sure one of the number gurus will be along shortly to give you the full and correct decoding. And Welcome to the boards and the best group of ford attics anywhere. By the way post pics so we can all see your baby.

oops i meant flareside, altho in oklahoma they are all called stepside lol
was a hydraulic clutch an option or available on this truck?

It should have one, because...
All 1957/60 F100/1100's have a hydraulic clutch. The parts are specific for certain models.

Flareside is a FoMoCo Trade Mark, Stepside is a GM Trade Mark.
Only those that are Lazy don't use the Correct terminology & Laziness breeds contempt.
As N.D. stated, they all came w/ them, unless of course they had Ford-O-Matic's installed.
