Anyone have an owners manual for a 1988 F150 Custom? When I bought my truck it didn't come with one. I have bought a Chilton's repair and maintainence manual, but that isn't what I'm looking for. Any help would be great! Thanks!

 

Have a look at fleet.ford.com you may be able to download one from there. Also try helminc.com and of course, ebay.com and also books4cars.com

What exactly are you needing help with?

 

Nothing specific fordman, I just wish I had one for my truck just to see what's in it. helminc.com wanted $19 for one. I am thinking I could find a salvage yard that might have a few that are still in the truck. I'm going to give it a try. I have a few yards near me and I'll call them tomorrow. I'll see what I can find out.

 

Reasonable enough, my 93 still had the owners manual in it.

i found a full Ford service manual set on ebay for $60, and it covers everything including engine and tranny rebuilds and an owners manual. You might want to hold out and find something similar.

 

I will definately keep my eye out for it!

 

I got mine from eBay for $5.

 

I kept the one from my '88 when I traded it off for parts. I also have the Four Wheeling with Ford book and some other stuff from it. I might part with the manual, since I don't have an '88 anymore, but you'd have to kill me for the other booklets!
