Well i have a 1994 F-150 XLT and i notice that my motor is loud, its not as quiet as it used to be a long time ago, my grandpa has a F-150 1995 XL and i took a drive on it this weekend and it was quiet compare to my, when i gave it gas i didn't hear the motor that much just normal like how mine used to sound, i thinking that its a leak on the manifold where the muffler goes out from, but i took it somewhere and they said they didn't find anything, where else to look, i rather hear my muffler then my motor.
Any help you guys or advice

Was it just loud or did it have a popping or hissing sound?
Is it exhaust loud , or motor loud ??? Your clutch fan may have locked up ?? ....Lew
Well I thinking it's my exhaust but I gotten people to check on them but they find nothing. Like in idle it sounds ok. But when giving gas it loudEr then the 95.

yes everything is still stock. Just on the 94 has flowmaster but it's been loud even before I install flowmaster.
Its probably either an exhaust leak or the fan clutch. Does it sound like s school bus? If so, then its probably the fan.
It doesn't sound that loud, lol so no it doesn't sound like a bus like when on idle and you just give it gas it doesn't sound inside, abut when moving it sounds loud in the cab. so i thinking like your saying exhaust leak.
If its a more constant sound that increases with engine speed then fan clutch. If it is a pulsating sound or hissing sound that increases with engine speed then exhaust leak. Its hard to say with out actually hearing it.

I see, so what do i have to do if its the fan clutch? any way checking if its bad, and maybe different places i can look for the exhaust leak?
if you are looking for an exhaust leak... the good old test i use is to have a buddy put a leather glove on and put his hand over the tail pipe so the gas has to be forced out somewhere else... while he's doing that i am under the truck listening and looking for the leak.
Thefan should spin freely when its cold with not much resistance....Lew
So when its off just go ahead and spin it?

Oh alright i will try that and see what i can see, i have to get a friend though to help me out.lol
When the motor is off & cool spin the fan with your hand & see how it turns , when its hot it will be harder to turn . If the clutch is locked up it won't turn or will be hard to turn....
