The only thing I dislike about the dp is the noise. I understand that it's a diesel but I just can't stand how loud the truck is. I have a difficult time cruising down the hyway and talking onthe phone.
I think that when I finally do injectors I'll swap tuners, unless Jody can tweak the program some to quiet it down. I'd swap some power for some quiet anyday right now.
Cales tunes REALLY quieted my truck down. you can even hear a difference at idle. I know its true, because my wife asked what i did to quiet the engine down. now my exhaust is a different story...LOL

hhmmm... I wonder if that trick would work on single-shot stix. It's funny you mention that actually -- I was at a Whataburger Monday, and a stock 7.3L pulled into the drive-through (followed by another one, then a 6.4 LOL). It really is funny to me now how different these sound on stock injectors! I'd never go back though...
Just got a call from Beans. My chip originally had PHP tunes on it (not my tunes, bought the chip used) and PHP formats their chip so it has to be sent out to TS to be reformatted. Its going to take an extra week to get it back now. Will post back when I get the chip back and installed.

After i got live tuned last week by Jody, my truck runs so much smoother and quieter. I love it. Big Difference. he pulled some fuel out, but still maintained my HP. cant complain too much. Need more air and more oil now!
Beans makes there tunes on a dyno...they have better HP in a longer curve then most..ive seen the dyno sheets..i can also try to dig up a couple to share if you want to see them...they are getting 400 HP out of a stage I injectors...my sticks in a 97 OBS truck with D66 turbo running Beans fuel layed down 436HP... i cant wait for my fuel lab and sump to show up..it was just sent out on tursday...with beans tunes and the Adrenaline going in.. i should be a little better then that...Beans will also reburn my chip for free when i step up a set of 238's or 250's..havent decided yet..

Ron, what are you going to do with your modded HPOP if you are putting in the Adrenaline? Are you sending it in as a core?
depends on witch one does a better job...plan to keep one or the other for back up...if something happend to one or the other i dont want a stock pump in my truck with tunes calling for higher ICP then the pump can handle..not good for injectors...i still had my had stock 15 that i sent in for a core..
Got the chip yesterday and got installed this morning. I only got to play around with it for about an hour and its night and day from stock especially with the Van Turbo. Put it in High Idle after I started up the truck up, pretty cool watching the RPM's go up by turning a switch. Daily Driver is exactly the power I was looking for, I'll probably be leaving it on this setting most of the time. The Performance (Hot) tune is great. More power than I need and the van turbo spooled up pretty fast. Its nice to know its there if I "need" it. Put it in the Economy and Tow tune for just a little bit but didn't have enough time to form an opinion on them yet. Overall shifting is much more firm, not harsh but firm. Before the shifting felt smoother but I like it. I need find some time to log some data on each tune, too bad I have Mother's Day stuff Saturday and Sunday. Overall I'm really happy with Beans Tunes so far.
