Limited Slip Diff

I have a 07 with a 4.6 and was wondering what spline axles are in my truck. I want to put a lsd in it but want to make sure i am getting the right part. plus do all 8.8's have the same carrier? Plus what would it cost to have one installed?

Ford diffs do not have case breaks, so you will be fine with what ever ratio you have or want to go to. The 8.8 diff has 31 axle spline and the 9.75 diff has 34 axle spline.

YOu have the 8.8

4.6= 8.8

5.4= 9.75
