Bilsteins Shocks?

Need some feed back on which shocks are good . I know what lift Iam going with, now I need to figure out which shocks I should get. I was leaning more towards Bilstein shocks . What do ya all think?

Thanks

What lift did you go with? Also the Blisteins are good shocks. They ride well.

I sure like my Bilsteins. It's difficult for me to imagine this nearly #8000 truck riding any better.

Bilsteins. Everyone will say that. The real question is what lift did you go with?

Another Bilsteins user but what type shock size will be your deciding factor.

Bilsteins look really nice. Haven't changed mine, they have almost 257,000 miles on them. I still think they ride nice... Kind of like stagecoach... with bad leather suspending straps HAHA. Sorry I am not too much of a help. I will be installing Bilsteins when I replace my shocks if that makes any difference!

I will say this, Monroes are garbage. My '92 F-250 truck I put some Monroes on and they couldn't control the suspension loaded or empty.

Another vote for Bilsteins. No lift for me but stock height, they work great.

Get in touch with these guys.

Bilstein - KYB - Rancho - Monroe - Edelbrock Automotive Truck Shocks and Struts - Shockwarehouse.com

They are a good company to deal with and mention FTE and they sometimes run specials on shipping or % off of orders for Forum members. They can also steer you straight on which ones also.

5100's here too with a 2 inch level kit but with the link Chris gave you, got them there too by the way, you'll need the longer ones. You won't be disapointed in the Shockwarehouse, fast shipping and at the time, free shipping, good service.

Okay a couple of you guys mentioned 5100's . How are the 5150's compared to the 5100's. Is reservoir shocks just a waste of money for what we do?

which ones would go with a stock truck, no lift-kit? any quick ballpark on price?

I have Bilsteins on another vehicle and they effectively turn a rowboat into a nifty kayak. I go out looking for curvy roads to drive.
