Im a big fan of the Fumoto valve. Never an issue with it.
As mentioned, fuel dilution is part of life on this engine. Unfortunately I havent seen a chart to say what % is too much. Companies like Blackstone might be concerned with 3-4 % but Ford would say that is just fine. Ford also doesnt perform warranty work based on independent lab results. Just because Blackstone says it has 20% fuel dilution doesnt mean Ford will go to work on your truck.
Ford accomplishes this by requiring the dealer to take the chance of the fuel contamination repair. If the dealer says it’s too much and trouble shoots, Ford will deny the repair. I went through all this already. I feel it is a black eye on Ford.

Thistle3595: Not concerned about the Fumoto valve. I guess if you do a lot of off roading over large boulders it might be a problem. I don’t off road so not too concerned.
Sounds like no one, Ford, Dealers, etc, have a solution for the problem or are even concerned?

I was also concerned about oil change intervals and how much to throw into the engine, but I just go with the specified 15 quarts. Although I do always change the oil filter with my oil changes, and leave the pan dripping overnight for peace of mind. Idk if it's the Delvac or the amount of miles I put on the truck, but this last oil change I left the oil in for 13 months. To be on the safe side I sent the oil in for analysis and these were the results:
