Never go with an aftermarket "warranty". Any extended "warranty" is not a warranty but it is breakdown insurance. Do you really need one? What are the odds that you will need repairs that exceed the money you will spend? A friend of mine who is 65+ years old bought a new vehicle and bought an extended warranty. He asked me if it was a good purchase. I asked him how many times he would have used an extended warranty since he started driving at 16. He said he would have never used it. Some people drive and treat their vehicles differently than other. If you break things, you might want an extended warranty.

Good point. likewise if you break things and it's determined to be through negligence, it may not get covered anyway.
This is the place that advertises on this site. You will see the banner from time to time.
I bought a Ford ESP PremiumCare warranty, for my F-150, from them for $600.00 less than what my dealer wanted for it. Be sure to let them know you are a FTE member. They'll treat you right. I just purchased my second Ford ESP PremiumCare extended warranty from them for my Focus.
You won't find a place that sells them cheaper. But don't believe me. Check the other link in this thread then call Troy at Ford Discount Warranty. They are a Ford dealer out of Massachusetts.

the thing that you have to realize, vehicals today have a lot more electronics. replace one and you have payed for the warrenty.
I just got one at the dealer, bumper to bumper. I figured it was a good thing to invest some of my tax return on, and yes, these truck especially the lariat have a lotta electronics!
