but I may have found some material like we talked about? If you'll give me your snail mail address, I'll clip you a piece and send it to ya and see if it suits ya? I've only got enough for YOUR seat, before anyone else starts the I want one too stuff. Its kind of like the OEM gray and red herringbone stuff the factory put in these '53 to '56 trucks. I can find something for someone else, but it aint goin to be like this. I only got this one piece. Its NOT a cover, just a piece of material.

Well, what I have is NOT the NOS stuff by any means, but is pretty close for a driver. And would pas. This is what Abe said he wanted. as far as the price reaching Gold, it aint far now. Its about $100 a yd now for the real stuff. The stuff that I have is actually a cloth type material and not a woven vinyl like the original, but as I said, it would work and in my opinion would be much better for a driver.

I guess I will have to get ready to fix my seat: foam, order the vinyl side pieces, paint the frame, put on the good seat snubbers I found, etc...
Is this something I can do myself or shall I find a local upholsterer?
