Alternator? Just a thought.. Mine just went w same symtoms. It was only putting out 11.8 volts.. Changed it and turns over in about 1-2 seconds.. Easy to check the voltage output anyways to rule it out...

kinda sane issue
I've cleaned all grounds and connections and added dielectric grease to everything but still just clicks one time when you put ignition to start or crabk and clicks at the relay on the firewall or solenoid good charge on battery good battery new starter new alternator getting 12 volts to heavy big wire to starter and 12 Volta to little signal wire when in start or crank and voltage goes away letting the key go from start to run but the starter does nothing and won't crank ive done a lot of things with this with no repair just keeps doing same thing no matter what I do but I have to check a couple other things I've read about anyone have any ideas its a 2002 f150 v6 automatic transmission and everything electrical works fine
