Need help
I have a 27ft 5th wheel that I bought sitting in a private campground, and have left it there for 4 years. Last fall I borrowed a truck and brought it home, and now I need to get a truck to tow it with. I'm looking at f250 and f350 7.3PSD 4x4. These trucks seem to be tall where the hitch is mounted, and look like they would tow my trailer in a nose up attitude. I want the trailer and truck to be flat. What do I have to do. I will tow a boat also.

There is SOME adjustments on both the hitch AND the kingpin box. You should be able to adjust to VERY CLOSE to level. I had a 1992 4X4 250 and now have the 05 4X4 250 and both are able to tow my 5'er level.

As Bud points out, there are several adjustments at the pin box and the hitch. I have only seen one example of a true problem with clearance and it was on a new truck and a large toy hauler. Given the vintage you are considering, I would be surprised if you had a problem.
