Kilns

I have been shopping for an electric kiln.

It has to do with a new business that I am contemplating and I will need to fabricate some small glass parts and also some small porcilen parts.

So my kiln can be fairly small (3 to 4 cubic ft. would do,) I need an accurate electronic temp controller.

It has been suggested that I get a front loader for doing the glass pieces. (Have not gotten an answer to why yet.)

Also it has been suggested to get a kiln capable of firing at "cone 10." This just for versatility in case I find that I need it in the future.

So, I decided to turn to my FTE buds to probe the well of knowledge found here. I don't know why I am so surprised at the variety of experience and skills on this site, so, my question is, can anyone here help me in making a wise choice before I commit several thousand dollars on something I know little about?

BTW, It's only about fifteen feet to a 100 amp sub panel so if I need to upgrade my wiring to the 240v outlet, not a big problem.

Also, I need to know more about venting.
