Im new at this as well as new at Old Fords. Im im in the military and bought a 63 flareside F-100 while home on RNR in Feb. Ive since redeployed back over seas and have been spending what little time I have look up pics and sites on how to this and that. My truck has a 1970 Boss 302 in it and runs like a champ. However the complete inside needs redone and the speedometer needs rebuild or replaced and I would like to drop it a couple inches in the front and rear. Any advice on how to go about this or where I can get the stuff to do it my self. I have so many ideas and questions I dont even know where to start. Please any advice is welcomed and thanks in advance.
There are so many ways to do all that you may need to do. You can get NOS parts from Dennis Carpenter, Blue Oval, or LMC truck.
If you want to go more custom you can get Dakota Digital Dash parts, and any number of customizations for the inside. I get most of my electronic stuff from a local Hot Rod place in Denver here called Golden Rodtronics. He has power window kits, and active blue dots, everything a person could want for their old truck.
Keep up with the forums here, and ask questions. You will get a variety of answers to most, but the answer you want will generally be there.
Good Luck, we can't wait to see your truck. Post pictures when you can.
